Awesome Design Competition
I really really like this competition. There are some really interesting designs. There are a few I thought had really interesting designs (winners, and non-winners alike). I really like the wall-roll system used in the above design, as well as the 2-story box-in-a-box design in another design. Finally, I really like the idea of rotating rooms (bedroom/kitchen/living room) where a central room connects to a rotating swivel with those rooms contained. Eliminates hall space and forces curvy design.
Between that and the whole
Dean Kamen shooting people 50 feet in the air without wearing any safety equipment so they can 'walk onto the roof of a building'
makes me want to design something cool.
