Creative Writing: 1st Class Assignment
So in my Creative Writing class we were told to write a poem using 10 random "juicy" words. These words were chosen by another classmate. Here's my list and then the poem that I wrote including them.
Delirious
Vanishes
Caressing
Exhalation
Jumbled
Trampoline
Swaying
Desire
Limitations
Fingertips
Dark to Light
Inhalation,
I take in deep breaths.
Everything vanishes into darkness,
Haven’t slept well, in a daze.
More like a delirious state of being.
The comatose swaying of the wind-
Along with screeching springs of the trampoline,
Flood my window.
Insomnia from the medicines,
Given to counter the side effects
-Of more medicines.
Pills slipping through my fingertips,
Leading to cravings, the desire of food.
Desire for you,
Holding, caressing, and loving.
With you I have no limitations,
Only an open sky, with endless possibilities.
Exhalation.
