During at least one of his insanely popular Q&As, filmmaker Kevin Smith has told a hilarious anecdote about the controversy surrounding his religious satire, Dogma. Smith himself, wishing to see what all the fuss was about, put together some signs of protest and once joined a small group of protesters in New Jersey. He was surprised when a news van showed up that night and opted to stick around for an interview -- still in character as an ignorant protester -- instead of fleeing the scene.

It has come to my attention that somebody has actually posted the news footage from that broadcast, almost ten years ago, on YouTube. God bless YouTube.
