Picked up Savannah and took her to bowling. I have a LOT of kids for the workshop first thing, and a few that should be in it that aren't. One girl (Ashley) has decided that she's not so bad after all, now that she's starting to pick up pins. And Keith is really starting to kick some butt. He could work on his backswing a little, but he's doing great.
Now if I could only get Lauren to slow down her ball - she's a good kid, but pushes too hard sometimes.
And of course there is a Miranda story - she didn't bowl although she was there. She showed me her hand; she dropped a 25 pound weight on it in the weight room. Ow. Nicely bruised up and swollen.
Oh, and Myka and Savannah have decided it's fun to jump into my lap simultaneously. Ouch.
Natalie (the girl who is supposed to be autistic, but is a real chatterbox, so I doubt the diagnosis - I suspect she is just a typical 11 year old girl turning into a cranky teen a little early) is coming along nicely. She tries really hard, but worries too much. Kids just can't seem to strike a balance between wanting to do well and having fun.
Oh, and Jessica spent the day bitching about having to wear a t-shirt. Tough cookies, kid. This is a family show! :)
