I asked the daughter what she wanted for Christmas.

She is getting a new iPod to replace the one she smashed when she fell running, and some small stuff.
BTW: I am searching for my present on eBay. A quality pocket size slide rule. (The slide rule business collapsed in 1976 and they quit making them world wide) I have one which I won the bidding on that is on the way, and I have to get two more. (I have my eyes on a new one in the box with all original materials which comes to bid on Friday) I have decided they are the perfect gift for both my godson/nephew, a US Air Force Flight Instructor with an engineering degree, and my best friend who is an Geek Wizard in everything.

I know I have been quiet. My life has been a whirlwind, and when I do have time to myself, I have mostly spent it reading or meditating. I have kept up on my LJ friends. I have just been to lazy to comment on most things.
