I woke up at like 2:40 this morning and could not get back to sleep. I think I went to sleep at like 9:30PM so I'm probably good on sleep anyhow. I tossed and turned for a good two hours and then finally gave up. It's like i have jetlag or something.

Fortunately, the internet never sleeps. Achewood made me laugh as it does every day. Later, even Natalie Dee made me laugh for her first time in years.

The downside of sleeping at 9:30 is you forget to eat dinner and then when you wake up hours before work you are incredibly hungry, and nothing opens till 6 or so.

Trevor, you need to discover the meaning of life, the curer of all hangovers and in-sleeping: Brunch.

Brunch is like the happy ending to a week-long massage.

Brunch is a time for friends and a time for enemies, a time for the world to wake up at 10:30 and begin consuming greasy food. You still sleep in long enough to feel OK, but it catches you right before you start to sleep too long and ruin the day. It gives you enough time to get through all that shit and when you come out of it, it's noon anyway.

Instead of waking up at noon and starting to think about being productive around 3 but giving up and ordering adriatico's and watching Arrested Development for the rest of the evening, you hit the ground at 12:01pm, running and ready to BOWL OVER YOUR OPPONENTS LIKE A MAN WHO IS JUST A BARREL WITH ARMS AND LEGS.

I think Bruegger's might be open at 6. I need some effing food.

I had a really really good weekend by the way. Thanks to everyone who contributed.
