Got bored of my playlist so went and hunted down some online radio, ended up with an anime one, good stuff and it rocks when they play something I know...even if I did get it because I was getting tired of my playlist, the odd play on an external thing rocks since someone other than me knows of and likes it, like the OP/ED from Iria, when that came on I was all ROCK!**!. Can also help with getting interested in new series through the music...maybe, lol.

Been playing Rome: Total War a little of late, kinad in two minds. It's all very cool an such, but maybe it's just cause this is my first time through and I didn't pick up on the finer things that they don't tell you before it mattered, lol, but still very cool. The battlefields aren't as big as the ones in Shogun: Total War, I don't think...what would really rock would be a full conversion of Shogun into the Rome engine, complete with the kick ass assassination movies and throne room instead of this just whack the army marker and pop up a scroll stuff, lol. Can't really complain about the battlefields not being as big though, makes it system friendly and only really affects when I'm chasing and cutting down a routing army, which is my main real strategy, I have archers and basically everyone I've come up against doesn't so they all get beaten up by flaming archer arrows and ballista shots, charged, further assaulted by short range javellin throwers along with my bulk of Hastalli...who also throw spears before they charge so long as you give them the command soon enough, otherwise they just brace the shield and take the impact of the enemy charge. They break and the horseback troops swoop round to cut everything they can before they get off the map down.
Urk...no, I don't think I like coffee with cream, lol.
Off into Morpeth tomorrow for some interesting stuff, could be...interesting. Have to see if anything actually comes of it all this time, got enough on my mind as is without adding more of this not working out to add on... grr, argh. Bah, should be fine, then maybe it'll even distract me from everything else up here.
Grah grah blah grah, SHOUTY MUSIC...but no, I don't want any of that. Maybe conquer some more Rome or watch Seven Samurai... tomorrow, too late for that now, but I'm good with the music I have right now. However this song is amusingly shouty...haha, feel a bit better now, strangely.
