Wow, it's been a while. As a matter of a fact it seems as though I've forgotten how to type as quickly as I used to. Although it's slowly coming back.
... man there's a lot to talk about. (tries to think of a way to categorize all of that information... and fails miserably.)
Well, I have a job now. I just completed my second week of work as a detailer for Serra Chevrolet/Kia/Hyundai. It definitely has it's perks: I'm getting payed $7 an hour, 40 hours a week, my boss really doesn't care what I do as long as I get it done, and I get to drive a lot of cool cars. Last week alone I got to drive 2 hyundai Tiburons, a 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse, and a 2006 Chevy Corvette (black and convertible... if you must know). Thanx to those perks, many of my friends have transformed into homicidal green eyed monsters. However, it also has it's problems. For starters: it's hard work. Today the heat index was 102 degrees due to all the humidity, and I nearly passed out because I worked too hard. Also all of my co-workers have no problem with adding any profanity to any and all sentences that they say. Lastly, I have no time now. I haven't been able to play for the praise band and also will be unable to go on the summer retreat to the beach.
For those reasons I will be quitting upon the discovery of another job. I am praying that I will find one with enough time for me to quit before the summer retreat, go on it, and then start the other job. Please pray for that situation.
Also, I was told twice today in two different occasions that I should try a trade job. I wasn't all that thrilled until I learned that I would be learning how to weld, and be paid $11 an hour the first year and $25 an hour after that. Hard work becomes childs-play when that kind of money is up for grabs.
As far as Courtney goes: Everything is going great! Her mother even admitted that she has a plan to save up for our marriage in the future. I still love her unconditionally, and hope to go on the summer retreat because she would be going too. Did I mention that I love her?
I have also totally mastered driving a stick shift (thanx to the last Tiburon I drove).
... What else?...
Cookies are good, and second degree burns hurt long after the original injury.
Anyway.
I guess that's it for now.
Take care all!
