Hrm. So thats what a year can do...

Sorry for being a terrible interwebs friend. No real excuse is enough, all I can say is I broke myself and its taken this long to fix it.
First off lets recap;
I went to school last year, cultivated art skills and have since done diddly with them. I am working to change that.
I have become engaged to my Julie, we are to be wed come December 20th, (the day my grandfather died in 99.) No she is not pregnant.
I quit my high paying well benefited job to work down in provo, where I moved to in November of last year. I worked at Michaels and while it was satisfying for a time the money was poor and I needed more revenue. So I proceded to go to work at a company called Heritage Web Solutions, (for a lark you should google that and 'complaints') I worked there for a total of two weeks before I quit.
I went to work with my parents at their motor repair shop and learned a bit more about my parents. Namely that at the time they still thought our now President Elect was a "Secret Muslim".
I was rehired by my old job and am now working there for more money and with good promotion prospects.
I have moved from Provo back up into SLC, Yay! Where I live now has Geese and Duckies. Julie and I feed them ocasionally.
I made a bad decision that cascaded and made the last year perhaps my most brutal but have found a new resolve to move forward. Its helped to have Julie there with me, she has helped me through a funeral, lots of stress and in turn its helping me to help her achieve what she wants in school. I know that her smarts will one day make it so we can live how we want, so I am supporting her with all I can.
Hellboy was awesome, Batman was awesome, Wall-e was cute, Prince Caspien was fun.
Tiger Army Rocks, Hooray for the Sinestro Corps.
I havent been to a concert for a year, I plan to rectify that with the Aquabats and their Hooray for the Holidays show in December.
Oh oh! On the 25th Julie and I will be taking our honeymoon in Seattle. We will be gone for the new years and be back on the third.
How is everyone else? Curiosity has led me to some details on LJ but I know I am missing details. I would certainly like to get back caught up in the world.
