Shared taxi
Main Idea is that geolocated service can collect passengers requests and built the trip, that connect all requests with the shortest distances, considering traffic, with no more than tree people in car (for regular taxi cars). And schedule approximately time for departure/arrival from passengers poins, durations of each trip. For the cost alike for PT(public transport).
Basic idas of the concept:
Technologies allows to mix taxi and public transport(PT), taking best sides of both.
-The main advantage of PT is the cost of trip. If you could choice taxi or PT for the same price, then you use taxi. That’s why people use taxi when travel in company of 2, 3 or more people, when part of cost are alike for PT.
-Disadvantages of PT are that it works themselves, with no attention what passengers need. PT will go even if it is empty. PT goes by its paths, not where passengers need. To change one PT to other you need go out, walk to next point, wait at next point, pull your luggage. Sometimes you need two and more PT changes to reach your destination. Each payable separately.
-Advantage of taxi - comfort, trip from point to point (without changes), fast.
-Disadvantage- expensive.
-in PT there are selling one person tickets. In taxi you only can rent whole car.
