Ooooh it's all *our* fault!
It's so clear now.
Apparently America is in the sad state it's in now (you know, the downfall of which started 10 months ago) because, yep, people like me are on the rise: the hedonistic, immoral, depraved, anarchistic and just plain evil, godless atheists!
I won't disagree that children singing praise to Obama is not only weird but inappropriate and detrimental. Children shouldn't be indoctrinated like that. But on everything else he's completely wrong.
You can't just say something -- no matter how angrily you yell and how passionate you pretend to be -- and have it be true. You barely saw a correlation. You observed a couple of events and then declared that a rising trend in evil actually exists. You saw (correct) data that atheism is on the rise and created, out of fucking nowhere, the causation between atheism and your fabricated decline in morality.
I can do that with anything. The example that readily comes to mind is the correlation (and I'll tell you right now the definite causation) between pirates and global warming. The decrease in pirates is most definitely the cause for the increase in temperature we've been observing over the centuries.
Stupid dicks who make shit up and (poorly) act all infuriated about it just to increase the ratings for their noisome TV shows piss me off. Almost as much as the stupid dicks who actually buy into that crap.
