I bought me some learning books.
C++ from the Ground Up by Herbert Schildt
Learning Java by Patrick Niemeyer & Jonathan Knudsen
PHP and MySQL Web Development by Luke Welling & Laura Thomson
Solid Code: Optimizing the Software Development Life Cycle by Donis Marshall and John Bruno
Web Design in a Nutshell by Jennifer Niederst Robbins
Strengths Based Leadership: Great Leaders, Teams, and Why People Follow by Tom Rath & Barry Conchie
Confessions of an Introvert: The Shy Girl's Guide to Career, Networking, and Getting the Most Out of Life (shut up) by Meghan Wier
I'm starting with the C++ one, methinks. I might return some of them. I think the Web Design in a Nutshell book covers PHP and MySQL in passing, at least.
I'm having lunch on Monday with an OPHS alum who's an IT recruiter. I'll probably talk with a Mudd prof about working for him for the next school year (one more year of undergrad by proxy, horray!). I'm sending my resume in to AeroVironment, where one of the engineers is a friend of my dad.
