Good Question
For the religious among you. I have a question that's kind of interesting.
You are sure, to various extents, that you will survive your own death in some form. I'd assume, then, that your "soul" or some part of your "I" would transcend time. Beginning, middle, and end don't really mean much to that everlasting part of you.
Then, I wonder, what were "you" doing before you were born? I imagine you have absolutely no memory of it. How exactly does that work? Is there something official written down somewhere? Are there any prevailing theories?
