I woke up around 5:30 AM so I could steal the car from my hubby. When I got home, I updated and organized the books on my Nook while watching The Haunted Hour: The Evil Thing from the Goosebumps series. It was wonderful.
The butterflies have flown - I checked the postage for the Christmas cards I am sending out and I got some special stamps. After that verification, I took my Frosted Flakes box of mailing stuff over to the library. I sat down in a chair and got to work. After that, I did my wandering and found the music CDs. I picked up an old Radio Detective show that I am really excited to listen to.
I got many funny looks while I wandered around carrying that Frosted Flakes box. The librarian tried to peek inside it.
My nap attempt drove me nuts. I had an alarm set so I could pick up Dattas on time. Unfortunately, the first hour I tried to sleep, everyone decided to post on twitter. Eventually I did get my nap and woke up in time to pick up Dattas. I even sat out in the car reading Smart Women Finish First for a while.
The rats are utterly adorable. They have been making me laugh all day long. Chessie runs up to the cage wall whenever I look over at her. She's been letting me pet her more and more. Rosie is a happy girl too.
I am enjoying lots of horror movies again. Other than The Haunted Hour, I have also watched Dracula: Dead and Loving It and Daybreakers. As Dattas liked to put it, "you seem to be on a vampire kick tonight sweetie."
