Host: Miyake Ken

Here is the summary for this week.

Q1: I had watched V6’s performance on “Ongaku no Chikara” & wondering what did you guys doing before you start singing. My little brother said it was similar to “Frozen.”

Ken said that’s right. May J-san (who sings the theme song for Frozen) had performed before V6, so Inocchi suddenly imitated the movie on purpose. A few members had joined him & the others not, as we've seen on TV. XD

Ken also watched Frozen right after it was released. He loves Matsu Takako’s version of “Let It Go” the most coz the way she sings it really fits the character itself, Elsa. For Ken, it’s so impressive & touched. And Ken loves playing Frozen game as well. But now he’s busy & doesn’t have much time for games so now he’s lagging behind.

Next, Ken talked about “Homura Tatsu.” The story isn’t based on war period or Edo period, and the place is far away to the northeast, so it’s not really notable in the history. Anyway, Ken said the story is really interesting & Ken feels deeply honored to take part in this spectacular stage play & working with awesome actors & crews.

The costumes for the play also are slightly different & have a beauty of style. It looks like a kimono but not really a kimono, like a Mongolian style. Of course the hair must be black but without topknot. And there are only 13 casts in that play, and without using CG, they need to create a fighting scene that is supposed involving thousands of people. Basically the main theme of the story is about power & sacrifice. It sounds heavy but it’s not difficult to understand. Ken believes the audience will enjoy & at the same time can learn a lot from the play.

Q2: What do you feel to play a real character in the history? And could you tell me the best & the hard things that you feel through this play?

The story happened during Genpei period & there are very few reference books or documents about this era so it depends a lot on imagination. That’s one of interesting part about the play. Ken also went to Akita, the real place where the story took place to get the feeling & imagining what had happened. So many lives had lost in the battle that time.

Usually Ken got the mail role in his play but this time he becomes the 2nd character, so the pressure is less. Ken feels very lucky to work with Ainosuke-san. Ainisuke-san is really like a brother to him, he is such a wonderful & kindhearted person. Ken also gets impressed with the director, Kuriyama Tamiya-san.

Ken admitted that this play is very difficult but at the same time it's so enjoyable. This is his first experience in historical play & he got to learn sword battle as well. Ken wished he had learned it earlier so he can do it well. ← don’t worry Ken, next time you can ask Okada to teach you martial arts, hehe. XD

Ken: It’s difficult as I expected. Usually I don’t do this, I never 'cut' people before. XDDD
It’s difficult. But it’s fun.

Fin.
Sorry for any mistake & my bad English.
