so i finally got a computer. i've actually had it a week from today but i've been setting it up and tweaking it and whatnot. i've gotten 6-4 hours of sleep for the past week. i got 7 hours last night, that was amazing comparatively finally have a day off.
so i'm working, i like my job. the people are cool.
i'm enjoying being married. it like all things has it's challenges, but it's an amazing experience when done properly. sometimes i realize that jane and i are doing really well. it doesn't come up usually because we just are, like it's always been like this.
the computer is amazing. i'm going to be able to do my music on it. i can mix in 5.1 and burn it to dvd's with this thing! it also came with an amazing sound system. not 5.1 but that's next on the list. i have a sub woofer! i've been rattling the walls. my downstairs (apartment) neighbors really LOVE me right now i bet. getting cable internet next week which will help out a lot.
so i've been thrown back into the digital world. it's amazing what you take advantage of until you don't have it. computers and the internet make life so much easier i ordered pizza online yesterday! the ultimate in lazy! i still haven't adjusted properly to having a computer, i've been to busy setting up everything to really play with it. i haven't even notified half the people i need to that i'm back online.
the computer has made me so social! i got to talk to my sister the other day. that's an impossible feat in itself. i've been able to message john a lot to. been hassling (annoying) jimmy with all my music questions. been out of the loop. so i have A LOT of music programs to register and equipment to buy but i'm on my way to doing what i really love and actually getting something done (may be.)
jane is well. she switched back to the job (shop) she likes. she made Petty Officer on her first try which is really cool. she's back to working week days. my schedule at work is all screwy so between that and the computer i haven't been able to see her much. hopefully we will have a day to ourselves soon.
money is addictive!!! i got my first real pay check. you would think i would spend the majority of it on equipment so i could start making music right? HA! i spent an insane amount of money on cds this week. i found out all these lmt edition cds we're out that i had to have. i have been enjoying actually being able to buy stuff i want. even if i have to buy it from Belgium because it doesn't exist here yet... errrrrrr.
