Today I transplanted the arichokes, the bell and jalapeno peppers, the basil, and the rosemary.
And we ate kale that I grew!
The pea plants are still pretty pathetic, but I'll get the hang of it someday...

And next year....asparagus!

Saw an Eastern Tiger Swallowtail in the garden today, while Taj and I were sitting on the front porch swing drinking coffee. It was beautiful.

I was thinking about the bramble in the backyard - the one that's probably full of baby bunnies, and what I might do to make it more awesome without disturbing the baby bunnies...
...and I thought, why not put some milkweed back there and let it be a butterfly/bunny area.

I found my semi-broken SD card reader, and it is indeed broken. So, since I'm down to one working SD card reader, which I cannot locate, I think I'll be buying a new one this afternoon. Because a backup is never a bad idea, especially if you're a Michelle ( Read more... )
