Goodby Kittens!

Well, as said, the grey tabby got nabbed by a friend of ours who has one cat who's about a year old already, and decided that she could use a friend. We met her at the petstore early this morning when she got off work and handed the kitten to her. Instant love! :)

Mikayla and I went back ot the petstore later once the local humane societies had gotten there to set up for their weekend adoption drives. At first, the lady said she was too full, though she /loved/ the two remaining ones. We stayed there a little while, hoping that the other group that is usually there, would arrive. But they didn't so we decided to leave after giving the lead lady my info - she said that if she could get some of the cats out of the cages at the store that another woman was fostering, so she could put a few of hers there, she'd take the kittens from me to foster later in the week.

But as I was leaving, another of their volunteers had arrived and had room to take them, so they caught me before I left. Yay! And the new foster mom was all happy and cooing over the kittens. So, happy they have a nice foster mom to take care of them. She said she had a couple of more kittens that were slightly bigger, so they should have fun playing with the others.

I was a tad worried about Mikayla being upset about loosing the kittens since she so wanted the orange one while she played with them. But, I had explained from the very beginning that we were helping them find homes, just like her favorite people, Dora and Diego, did all the time on the TV. So she was cool with helping them out, and giving them away. Whew! Never thought I would say thanks to Dora and Diego. :P
