This might be the eye of the storm, or the calm before the storm, or another one of those well known metaphors in relation to being lulled into a false sense of security before lots of shit hits a lot of fans. Anyway, all class work has been finished and submitted and now its slow and easy til exams. Then, exams will start and I'll be freaking out because of all previous procrastinating. Oh well.

So, despite all my ramblings last week I kind of knew that things wouldn't last with House and Stacy, But I just felt like the character had been so ... violated. I don't know, I mean, it's not the vulnerability I know that House can love and was in love, it's just Stacy. I realise I wasn't a big fan of Cameron after things began happening and now I'm not a fan of Stacy but please don't think on the pattern there. I'm not a 'she's, like, so not good enough for him' kind of fan [you know, in case the flist hadn't realised that] it's just that so far the relationships thing just seems way more trouble than they are actually worth.

On the actual episode, it was okay. I especially liked Wilson's irrational behaviour, mostly because I want to see depth to the other characters, stuff that has barely been alluded to so far. Though I have tried to stay spoiler free, I do know that his wife is going to cheat on him and he's going to move in with House, and I really like the thought of seeing more of him, and yes, ok, to see more H/W. I'm really interested to see more about Foreman too, hopefully something is in the works.

There's another repeat next week, 'Histories' from Season One. 'I don't have to watch the O.C but it makes me happy'.

In fandom, I wrote another Butch Cassidy/Sundance Kid. I know. But I'm serious. It's only gen, really, for anyone who just can't see Robert Redford/Paul Newman [I'd be really amused to know who that doesn't do anything for]. I kinda like it so I thought I'd let you know.

Title: A new dawn.
Author: mijmeraar
Rating: PG13
Movie(s): Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
Pairing: Butch/Sundance gen; slash if you squint and tilt your head and make it all up on your own.
Summary: This could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
Disclaimer: It does not belong to me. Nope.

It began with a brawl, the kind that never had a reason, except that some clod had your hair in his fist and wasn’t swinging to miss.
