A/N: Sorry for the late update. It's kinda hard when you're dealing with college life, especially senior year. Thesis and papers everywhere, assdfglkdjgl!!! Hahaha! But anyway, enjoy.
FROM CHAPTER 5:
“Okay,” he said, nodding, “So, good night?”
“Yeah, good night.”
“See you in the morning.”
“See you in my dreams.”

It had been a rough week for the seniors and final exams were just around the corner. Papers and other projects came one after the other. Most of the students are half-heartedly joking to drop school or threatening their close professors. They were all tired and lack sleep. Everything for them was just about going through hell.
But not Sungmin.
She was finished with almost all of her required papers and et cetera, and she was just doing non-academic activities. She joined the end of the semester musical competition and was all right according to her mentor, Professor Kwon Boa.
But one thing is bothering Sungmin, though.
The said competition was going to last for three whole days after the examination week. Luckily, she was responsible enough to get her work done, but she was in danger in failing one particular subject.
Math.
“Seriously, Seohyun,” Sungmin began ranting as she walked around the music room, “I know we had an agreement that we will not be as close as possible during class or around the campus, but him, failing me, don’t you think that’s too much?!”
“Well, dear, you do know that Kyu-oppa is just acting as a professor and as someone from the authority of the school, but still, after a long, tiring, hellish day, he will always go to your apartment for two hours or so, and sometimes you two even-”
“I TOLD YOU WE ARE NOT DOING IT!”
“Chill, bitch,” Seohyun said, laughing. Sungmin just sighed and made weird noises to release her stress.
“What should I do?”
“Just keep a positive perspective. Y’know, Kyu-oppa is just like that.”
“Why am I in love with this stupid jerk…”

Kyuhyun was going around the third floor, looking for the dean. He was warned that most of his students are in danger from failing his class, which mean, mostly are seniors.
He was about to go around the corner when he bumped with Prof. Boa.
“Hey, little one,” Boa said, nudging him away from her, “long time no talk casually. Wait, you look pale, are you okay?”
“It’s… Ah, really, my students… An estimate of 80% of them will fail me, and the catch is, most of them are seniors.”
“Eh? Really? But, most of the students that you handle are the ones in the elite class! If that’s the case-”
“Yeah, yeah I know,” he nodded, and scanned the papers he was holding, “the dean had already warned me. It will bring bad reputation to the university.”
“Nah. You’re Cho Kyuhyun, you can handle that dean of ours. She’s not that capable in firing you nor failing the students.”
“Do you really think so?”
“Yeah,” Boa smiled, “Oh, shoot, gotta go. Have my class now. Bye.”
“Bye,” he said, waving his hand to the now running petite woman.

“Are you really going to fail me?!”
Kyuhyun just sat by the edge of the bed and looked up at Sungmin. She was fuming mad, obviously because of her red face. She was not at all happy with what was happening between her school life and her love life.
“I told you,” Kyuhyun stood up and went towards the door, “I had been warned by the dean. I want to stick with my principles, but I was warned, got it?”
Sungmin crossed her arms and sat down by the desk beside the bed. Kyuhyun was about to leave but went towards her. He placed her milky thighs around his waist, and hugged her. He kissed her forehead, down to her lips. She blushed for a moment but broke the kiss.
“I’m sorry, I’m not ready.”
“I know,” Kyuhyun sighed, bowing his head, “well, good night, then.”
“Kyu…”
“What?”
“I am sorry. From the point I shouted at you and up to this.”
“Don’t worry about it,” Kyuhyun smiled and opened the door, “I like that side of you, anyway. The ‘pissed’ Sungmin, and the ‘naïve’ Sungmin. Too cute for me to handle.”
“Perv…”
“Since birth, love.” He went outside, and closed the door silently.

“You’re lacking sleep, Professor Cho.”
Kyuhyun looked up and saw Siwon, standing beside him. The professor looked around and, when he saw his colleagues looking at them, he gestured his student to the consultation room.
“So, what do you want, Siwon?”
“I told you, Sungmin is mine. Why can’t you just deal with it?”
“Damn,” Kyuhyun chuckled, “and here I thought that you wanted to see me because you’re at the brink of failing my subject.”
“I don’t care about your subject, Kyuhyun. My life as the heir of the Choi family business is much more important, and part of that is the fact that I am engaged to the student you are seeing.”
“Please, Choi. I had no regrets at all with what I am doing right now. I had enough of our rivalry since I got into college, so please, if the way you think is like that, I don’t give a shit.”
“Kyuhyun,” Siwon stood up, grabbing his professor’s shirt, “I already told you. I don’t care about our rivalry way back before. But, this is about Sungmin, and if you don’t stop, I will make you resign in an hour.”
He let go and went outside and slammed the door. Kyuhyun rearranged his necktie and cleared his throat. His knees gave up and suddenly knelt down. He coughed and massaged his head.
“No, not now…”
~o~
“Sungmin…”
Sungmin, who was at the other room, went to the guest room, only to find Kyuhyun sitting down.
“What do you want? Y’know, you gave us a very long special take home exam-”
“What if… What if there’s someone who doesn’t want me to be with you?”
She was stunned and looked down. Here we go again, drama king activated…
“I told you,” she sat beside him, “whoever wants to break us apart, he or she must know how stupid they are. Nothing will be achieved from it.”
“You love me, right?”
“Of course! Oh, c’mon, Kyuhyun, stop being a drama king, I need to finish your damned exam!”
Kyuhyun smiled and hugged Sungmin. He then lie down to his bed, not breaking his hug.
Something’s not right, Sungmin thought as she turned around to face him. He’s too… emotional these days…
After three hours of sleep, Kyuhyun woke up and saw Sungmin beside him. She was almost like purring like a cat, rather than snoring. She looked cute and irresistibly sexy.
No, no, calm down, Kyuhyun thought, she doesn’t want it. Not now…
Kyuhyun silently left her house. He yawned and stopped suddenly at the lamp post to check his wristwatch. He checked the time and it was almost four in the morning.
He, then, went on his way home.
“Gotcha, Math professor…”
~o~
Sungmin was groggy and went to school an hour earlier. She went straight to her classroom to catch some more sleep. It’s not that she stayed up all night. When she and Kyuhyun slept, it was around one in the morning.
Just then, the classroom door opened.
“Sungmin!”
“What do you want, Seohyun?” She said in a very tired voice.
“Oh my god! WHAT IS THIS?!”
Sungmin looked up to her and saw that she was holding the university’s newspaper. Her eyesight may be blurry but she could read well the headline.
“Living-in couples: Math Professor and Student Candidate for Musical”
