I also needed to ask you about this wand business. I'm no expert, but as I understand it you'd need to be matched with a wand that works specifically for you. Isn't that so?

I think so. Snape would know more. Or I think he just wants me to have permission to use his to practice.

I think that's what it was. He doesn't want to hand me a talisman without you knowing about it and saying it's fine.
