I'm inches away from finishing the next-to-last chapter of a fic, and I'm exhausted.  This chapter is exhausting me, and it has been since I started writing it.  Word one and it was a fight.  I'm not used to struggling against my writing like this - it has not wanted to do anything that I need it to do.  And even now, as I've wrestled the first 2/3 ( Read more... )

I finally saw Rise of the Guardians last night, mostly because everyone on the internet seems to think it was the bee's knees.  And it wasn't bad, per se... but I'm sure it could have been better.  Now, I haven't read the books, so maybe they address all of my issues.  I dunno.
