Strange Motivators

Haven't done any work today. That's going to change in about ten minutes. Aside from picking up the roommate, I suspect I'll be plugging away until about 2 in the morning because of my folly. People that know me well enough probably recall that I can get distracted by things that my mind won't let go of. Now that I've solved the dresser, iPod and Palm Pilot dilemmas, I should probably be a little more productive, because they won't be occupying my brain. Of course, I got the iPod today, and because I forgot that this, while brand new, came without accessories, I went to buy one. Then I installed the iTunes program, then I started having problems with it, so I installed it on my laptop, which I did not want to do, and uninstalled it from my desktop. It turns out that Service Pack II for Windows XP must be downloaded. The only problem is, I've tried this twice, both times having to uninstall it because the ports to my external equipment (flash drives, printers, etc.) wouldn't work.

So I've put a post in the Windows SP2 forum.

In the meantime, do any of you PC gurus have a clue why XP2 is being a fucker?

Via my laptop, I've used iTunes to copy "Crazy" by Gnarls Barkley from the CD I just bought. Me so happy now. I get lost in this song for some reason.
