Valu Village so ticks me off! They overprice everying in that store. It's all second hand stuff, for crying out loud.
Saw a porcelain doll there today, that had a dress and bonnet rather perfect for Marion's more Victorian look. The doll was not particularly well made, like some collectors' porcelain ones can be. She probably came from Superstore, or possibly the Bay, but not from the special collectors sites. And, her dress was kinda rumpled, and had loads of lint on it, and probably could do with a wash. Her hair needed to be untangled... VALUE VILLAGE PRICED HER AT: $12.99! Come on! That's bullsh*t!!!
I did buy a little piece of "furniture" for $5.00. It will go with all the living-room stuff that I have coming from eBay.
Maybe on the weekend I'll check out Sally Ann or Good Will for dolls that can be stripped down for their clothes and under-garments. I'm such a meanie!
