I have a new dolly. Or "action figure," I guess.
Alexander the Great action figure. He was a gift. (It's really impressive, btw. Very accurate for a doll.)
What tickled me is that I brought Alex home, to show him off, only to have my son co-opt him. Alex was immediately set against one of the child's superhero action figures -- and was winning, last I saw. (g)
Now, he's running around playing Macedonian army Superhero, and insisted on being Alexander's "second best friend" (he knows about Hephaistion, yes), and wanted a Macedonian name, not a Greek one. So we came up with Darron.
He's decided he's "on the good side," but is "a little bossy," and he has a cheetah on his helmet (not a lion), because he's as fast as a cheetah. Oh, and he can makes storms, too. That's his Superhero Power.
(rolling on the floor laughing)
And we keep mixing ancient history, Yu-gi-oh and Superheros. Next I know, he'll have "Darron" climbing walls like Spider-Man.
