Y'all need to start watching "Huge" from ABCFamily. It's a show about fat kids, which focuses on fat teenage girls played by real fat actresses, not Gwyneth fucking Paltrow in a fat suit. I need someone else to talk to about Team Ian! (Lesley at Fatshionista is recapping the episodes. Watch Episode 1 and then go read her recap for an explanation

I wanted to watch that! And then I was like, "Srsly, am I ever going to grow out of wanting to watch ABCFamily shows that probably really suck?" So thank you for the knowledge that it does not really suck, and the tip that it's on hulu! :)

I sat there Sunday night and watched "Revenge of the Bridesmaids" because I love Raven-Symone. So I am possibly not one to lecture.

"Huge" is still awesome. Complex characters who make you cheer and cry within a short hour. :)

I mainlined all 3 episodes yesterday! :) Only the most recent episode is listed on hulu/ABCFamily but the others were still up on the ABCFamily site and accessible via google-fu. Huzzah!

I just love all the characters!! :) I love the mean girls and the guy's-guys and the total nerds - they are all so awesomely high school. Poor eating-disordered Amber, who lost her ed bff when she tried to get help for her. :( I'm kind of Team Everybody? I feel like I know all these kids because they're so like the people everyone knows in high school. I loved adorable Dani in her adorableness (and her hilariously awesome crazy family), and am sad she didn't make it. Ian and Will and Becca and Trent (Trent! *sniffle*) are so great!! I love that Rand is interesting instead of just being The Headmaster, and I love the non-freakshow way they're broaching the topic of eating disorders (you know, not as just Some Guest Star who is here to teach our perfect regular cast a Life Lesson). I guess I love the whole show for its non-freak-show-ness

Seriously I have much love for Ian and Becca and Alistair, even when I'm cringing in sympathy. But that moment when the girls come back to the cabin and the one girl was just gone and everyone freaked out, I just started to cry. It was such a painful moment and one I've been through before. The girls around you may drive you crazy but you're still protective of them and it still hurts so much when something bad happens to one of them. *sniff*
