i don't know why i've been putting off talking/posting about this, but since it's been a couple of weeks now i guess it's probably about time. jeremiah and i broke up. or, more specifically, i broke up with jeremiah. i don't really want to get into the specifics of it here, but if you want to talk more about it you can send me an im or an email.

again, it's been months since my last post. i've been so busy doing things that i haven't had time to write about them. because so much has happened, i'll just give a brief overview:

• moved to okazaki, my new home. it's a pretty nice place, bigger than my old city, with some interesting restaurants and shopping opportunities.

i got a job!! and not just any job, but the job i actually wanted! that's right, only 3 months after applying, 5 weeks after my interview/model lessons, and three weeks after i was supposed to receive an answer, i finally got the offer from the National Institute for Physiological Sciences in Okazaki. i will start teaching english to graduate ( Read more... )

after more than two and a half years, i'm finally coming home for a visit! i bought my ticket today. i will be back in america from june 12th until the 27th. i can't wait to see my friends/family, gorge myself on fatty american foods, and actually go to stores that have clothes i can wear! so, if you're reading this and you want to hang out ( Read more... )
