(no subject)
i finally sent in my college app for columbia chicago. i visited the school about two weeks ago and i was very very impressed. the atmosphere was real laid back and the fact that it is downtown throughout michigan and wabash is really cool. chicago itself is impressive as well. the city is pretty clean and it isn't humid. i know i know, it gets fucking cold. but i prefer the freezing cold to the 100 degree weather of texas. at least you can put layers on! the dorms are all apartment style which is really cool. now i just get to wait about two or three weeks to find out if i got in. its rolling admissions. they have a 98% acceptance rate. yay for art schools!
hmm... ive been writing a lot recently. yeah, about 7000 words worth of fanfiction in about a week. i plan to start my nanowrimo as soon as its november. ill enjoy that. i have my story in mind already. power to ghost stories and haunted houses. **nods**
i switched from pre-cal A semester to the year course. i'd rather have a chance to bring the average up in five or six months rather than in two. and i especially didn't want to take stern's final. all of my other grades are decent so i'm not complaining about those. i just absolutely HATE math. $#%^&
i suppose that's it. im not in the personal writing mood, but i just felt like talking in this thing a bit. later all.
