So I have realized,
It could never truly work.
We had a moment in time,
A pocket of beauty we thought would last forever,
It was not for certain,
You are happier now,
That means the most to me,
May you never cry,
And always be peaceful,
You still fill my dreams,
My thoughts linger to you here and there,
I have learned God gives us what we need,
Sometimes that is better than what we want,
Part of my heart will always be yours,
