Before watching the film and realizing they were children, I thought of Sheeta and Pazu to be the age San and Ashitaka are.
It's amazing -  the way his skills, ideas, thoughts, ideals, mind and heart develope through the time, becoming better and better. His imagination is irreplaceable and undying.

It's beautiful how Miya-san's films teach us to accept and love everyone and everything no matter how many legs or eyes they may have. I think he perfected some ideas presented in Nausicaä and later put them in Mononoke achieving the best in his career so far.

There, I couldn't recognize Asbel's voice being that of Yōji Matuda...
