I love Thursdays. It's one of my days off (except from homework).
Last night was great. It was the last night for two of my roommates at the hostel. Both of them are professors from the UK. They asked me if I wanted to go out with them to a bar since it was their last night. I wasn't sure if I should since I had homework (mostly reading) so I declined. Later on my brain was thinking "Y'know, what are the odds something like this is going to happen again? Put off the homework and go have fun." So I did.
Another girl from the UK named Liz joined us. Unfortunately her name is the only one I can remember. We walked from the hostel to a bar/restaurant and hung out there. I didn't order any beer. We just talked about our experiences and had fun. Several times the others talked about places in Britain that I rarely or never heard of but it was fun hearing about it. After we ate we walked over to a nearby Señor Frog. It wasn't too crowded since it was it was late. There was a small group of girls and from the looks of things it was a bachorette party. I only stayed for a little bit before I needed to call it a night and walked back to the hostel.
Before I wasn't sure if I should go but I'm glad I did.
