It's just around the bend

So I realize it's once again been a long time since I've posted.  It comes down to the fact that other people write so frequently that I feel like my entries will get washed away like layers of rock.  It usually takes some kind of impetus for me to post anymore.  Today's impetus?  Morrisey's cover of "Moon River."  It's been about 4 months since ( Read more... )

It seems like the stupidity of the peeps at Lyco has seriously increased. (I know at CAS we had something like 10+ peeps PASSED OUT in the lounge. Craziness.)
Lexi says that she thinks Lyco is recruiting more nerdy childrens, which I think is hilarious.

And it's scary as fuck the fact that everyone seems to have grown up. I do not approve.

No not at all. Someone asked me to go to the beer store after I got back from the beer store and I told them if I did I couldn't go to the same beer store. I'm becoming slightly more responsible. Also we are not old enough to start having kids.

brian yeager, i've missed your entries! (i enjoyed and empathized with) this line:

"Your citations are criticized more heavily, your freedom is restricted more, the backstabbery (should be a word) is higher, and the stress seems greater."

how long IS law school, anyway?

Law school's 3 years but it's kind of like having a 6-semester year, rather than 3 2-semester years. There's always something to work on and your reward for successful completion is to take a test that determines whether or not you can apply what you've focused on for the last 3 years. I'm hoping to update more regularly.

three years; wow. i was just reading a story in the news about some law school student...a thief broke into his appartment and demanded his wallet & his guitars. the student willingly complied. then, the thief noticed his expensive laptop & demanded it also. the law school student completely freaked out & yelled something like "no! there are two yearsworth of case notes on there!" & he promptly wrestled the thief to the ground and punched his lights out.

I have weekly panics about my laptop dying. I've seen people in tears over laptops malfunctioning.
