One wing isn't even enough...
Since I updated recently, these entries are going to be getting back to my more stream-of-consciousness entries. Yaa!! I don't even know how many people read this, but I guess if I take the approach that I'm writing to both a million and no one all at once it'll sort itself. Eat your heart out Schroedinger.
So I downloaded lots of Modest Mouse recently and am really digging it. Their newest cd owns my life. My next acquisitions will be neil young's newest and elliot smith's upcoming compilation cd. Modest Mouse will be at lollapalooza so I'm pumped. Other bands which I will be looking forward to seeing are The Stooges, Ben Harper, G Love, !!!, Amy Winehouse, and of course Pearl Jam.
Jen had her formal this weekend and it was alot of fun. We danced alot and in general it was great. Drank some highballs and some whiskey and cokes.
Also saw Fracture which was awesome. On Sunday I went to Five Guys, which if any of you that live along the Eastern Seaboard don't know, is the best burger place you'll see. I can't even begin to describe it, but if you go to www.fiveguys.com you'll see.
Oh, one last thing. At work, I'm part of the fire safety team. I make sure everyone is off of our floor. I told something this and their reply was: so basically you're the one who dies if there's a fire. I guess they're correct. But as Mitch Hedberg says, "If you have legs, you are never blocking a fire exit".
