Wikis can be so much fun! With thanks to my friend Lester (a/k/a solonor) for the heads up:

US Network Television schedules from 1954/55 onward

I'm totally getting a kick out of the Saturday morning schedules from the seventies! All of my old favorite and beloved cartoons, and a few live action, like Shazam and Isis, and the Krofft Supershow (which they need a wiki for! That was Electra-Woman and Dyna-Girl, Doctor Shrinker, and the other one I can't remember the name of, but it was with Michael Lembeck and Wendy Jo Sperber and they rode in a Jeep and hung out at the beach a lot, and yes I remembered Michael Lembeck's name because I had a crush on him when I was like 9. Shut up.) ETA: Wonderbug! Thanks Les! ETA 2: No wait - Wonderbug was the one with the funky VW! (well duh!) *iz all confuzed now* I swear I'm not making this shit up. Maybe.)

And of course, these were the days before cable, before remote controls, so you had to actually get up and walk to the TV to change the channel. My sister and I would be in the den with our cereal and milk every Saturday morning. And me being the older sibling, of course we had to watch what I wanted, which involved a lot of channel changing at times, though we were predominantly ABC kids, (because Schoolhouse Rock!!) with a bit of NBC (Star Trek and Land of the Lost) and CBS (Isis/Shazaam and Josie and the Pussycats in Outer Space) tossed in. (OMG! The Osmonds! The Jackson Five! The Brady Kids and Jan with her gigantic glasses!)

The Superfriends, however, were a staple in our house. (And I have to say that I preferred Wendy and Marvin and Wonderdog to the Wondertwins and Gleek.) When American Bandstand came on, it was time to go outside and play with our friends. :)

I haven't even started on the evening schedules yet! Should probably get back to work though. But... but... Tuesday night - Happy Days at 8 p.m.! Welcome Back Kotter! Laverne and Shirley! The Six Million Dollar Man and Bionic Woman! Saturday Nights - Love Boat and Fantasy Island! Donny and Marie on Fridays (and one awful year of the Brady Bunch!)

I'm far too easily distracted.
