If I Had a Hammer
lauriegilbert & I went to see Thor tonight. Man, is that George Kirk dude pretty!!
Also, the whole movie I'm sitting there thinking, "Gee, the guy playing Odin looks a lot like Anthony Hopkins ..." Um .... And after many years of thinking, "What the hell's so great about a damn hammer?" - Okay, it was a pretty kickass hammer.
I seem to be having a lot of "Gee, Lisa, you are sooo aware!" moments lately. (and I can hear Di, Tina, and Mousa snickering already. At least it amuses the people around me! :-P)
Also, Tina linked me to this from Alan Rickman, and I almost got a bit teary-eyed reading it:
HP7 Part II comes out in like 6 weeks. *sigh* This summer also marks seven years since I dipped my bitty toes into the HP fandom waters as well. Some days it doesn't feel like it's been that long, and then I look at some of the fics I wrote in early 2005, and yeah, it really has been that long!
