Despite the fact that I have a midterm tomorrow that I'm not likely to do very well on, this weekend has been my best so far this year. Friday I went to an improv show that was pretty good and then watched a movie with Kristin. Last night was my friend Sara's birthday party, which involved hair playing-with, slight tipsiness, and dancing and belting out ABBA songs from the apartment balcony.
My room has been invaded by Japanese beetles. They're everywhere. I've been vacuuming them up twice a day and there's always more. I'm almost looking forward to cooler weather so all the bugs will die.
I can't believe the term is already half over. WTF, term, where did you go? There are still so many things I need to do and was planning on having done well before the halfway point.
I have been watching Battlestar Galactica like a madwoman. Damn, that show is addicting. I love it, but I wish there was more humor and fewer superfluous shots of spacecraft. I also wish Gaius Baltar would just die a horrible death already. I don't understand why so many people like him, even as a character and not personally. I have great difficulty tolerating idiocy in fictional characters.
And now I will try to stop procrastinating and get back to my probably mostly futile attempt at studying.
