As per usual, the first half of this term flew by, and the second half is crawling. I got hit with homesickness right on schedule last week, and now I'm counting the days to winter break. Less than four weeks left! Only three weeks of classes, then finals week, and I'm done. This term has been extraordinarily fun socially, but relatively boring as far as classes go. I'm pretty certain I'll get A's in my two sociology courses, but history's not going as well. My first Social Movements paper, which I stayed up until 3am cranking out without regard to quality, came back with an A+ and a note saying it was the best paper in the class. I laughed really, really hard. The rest of the class must stink at writing papers. If I'd turned that paper into my history professor, it would've been worth a B+ at absolute best. At this rate, I'll graduate with my AnSo minor GPA at something like 3.85. Crazy.

My suite did henna last night, and now I have an absolutely gorgeous swirly design on my left forearm and hand. I will be sad when it fades in a week or two.

I am going to be Carmen Sandiego for Halloween. I have a red trench coat in my closet and a fancy hat on order. Now all I need is an air of mystery. And possibly the Eiffel Tower, or the Statue of Liberty.
