'Ya ever open your eyes and see "wow, something here needs to change"? This morning I'm feeling that... I'm skipping my first class, my room's a pig-sty, there are multiple empty food things (bags, boxes, etc.) lying around, I have no more clean clothes, I have a first draft of a paper due today and I have yet to write a single word for it, I got less than 4 hours of sleep last night (mostly due to Matazone but it's my fault too), the last time I showered was last season... And I'm really hungry. I almost don't know where to start. So much could use changing at the same time... Hello. My name is Mike, and I have a problem. There we go. That's the first step. Sure, I like living in my "go with the flow" manner, and I'm not looking to give that up for the cubes-and-angles life. But sometimes I just look around and see like "ummm, yeah..." I don't need other people telling me to change or do things differently. Anyone who knows me knows also that that will only make me sink my heels deeper in the mud and stay put. I can live in a free-form manner and still keep some semblance of order. Though no one tells the branches where to grow, the tree does better if they stay seperated from one another rather than in a mass. I'm going to work on changing for me. Just a little bit at a time will be my goal to start.
