Ok! I just walked (practically skipping) back from the mail room. I went down there to check my mailbox and... THERE WERE FOUR PIECES OF MAIL INSIDE IT... FOR ME!!!!!! :-D (And none of them were bills!!! :-D)I got a postcard from Px from Oregon, I got a birthday card from my Mom, and... I got two letters from my sister!!! :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D *Uuber-wow happy jump-squee!*
The Postcard has Redwood trees on the front. It was sent from Oregon from a girl who went to a campout w/ her boyfriend to Willits, CA. It's amazing. I can almost feel what it must have been like to be in the presence of those giants. *swoon*
The Birthday card from my mom was sweet and it had some money with which she wants me to buy something for myself. ^_^ Yay for the card and subsequent happy afterglow for the present. Thanks, Mom. xoxo
The two letters from my sister are what almost had me blow a happiness gasket. They were postmarked the 3rd and the 6th of March. The first one was written on the 2nd of March and she wrote me to say Happy 21st Birthday. She was in Week 2 of Basic Training. It was almost 1 in the morning so the letter's kinda short. But it really doesn't matter how short or long the letter is. It's wonderful to hear from my little sister. I love her.
The second letter from Carolyn was written on my birthday on a memo-pad sized piece of paper. My sister stenciled or drew the US ARMY logo (the square w/ a star in the middle and U.S. ARMY in block letters underneath) and beneath that, she wrote: "I'm doing extreme amounts of Physical Fitness, while you are getting drunk. Miss ya! thinking about you on your 21st. Love ya! Love, Carolyn." *dies of happiness-glee overdose* :-D :-D :-D :-D Oh, Carolyn. I love you. Expect a letter soon back from me. (As soon as I stop jumping and jittering from the happiness. :-P)
