Today was the national Day of Silence for people with Pro-life beliefs, so my friend Sara and I pledged to be silent all day and to wear red duct tape on our arm that said life, in remembrance of the many babies that are aborted each day. It was only a small demonstration, but I feel like I got some prolife information around a little bit. I'm glad that I go to school at a campus where people can respect each other's rights to have their own opinion. I hope that maybe someone became more aware of choices other than abortion today. No offense to anyone that does not believe like I do, I was just demonstrating my own personal beliefs.
It was really hard for me not to talk all day. I had already emailed my professors in the three classes I have on Tuesday/Thursdays, which are all participation based classes, and they were very understanding. Most of my classmates were like, "It's cool that you are expressing what you believe in." I never realized how much I had to say on pretty much any subject that is brought up. I carried around a little notebook to talk to some people, and I had fliers telling about what I was doing. I'm really glad I participated, though. I'm still not talking, and its killing me. My head feels like its going to explode :D
