Things.
1) I am too nice to people. It's true. I hate it so much sometimes.
2) My friend is sick with bronchitis and she doesn't want her mom (with whom she lives) to know that she isn't going to work this week, so she's lying to her and showing up at my place at 7am EVERY MORNING THIS WEEK, and staying here until 9pm every night. She just sits around on my sofa all day and wants me to entertain her, bring her food, and watch movies with her as she hacks up a lung. I can't... take... it... anymore. If I'm still healthy by this time next week, I'm counting it as a miracle.
3) IT'S WEDNESDAY! 7 more minutes until new CM time! I managed to herd my friend out the door just in time so that I can watch it BY MY FREAKING SELF.
4) Sometimes I'm afraid I might just be a hermit. Or as close to a hermit as one can get without completely isolating oneself from society. One of my uncles is a legit hermit. Could it possibly be genetic?
5) Personal space is VERY IMPORTANT to me. At least a little bit of it every day. Just a little fucking bit. That's all I ask for.
6) Instead of my usual 45 minute jog, I ran for over an hour today just to get out of my disease-infested house for a while.
7) Why is it that just because I'm unemployed, everybody feels like I owe them my time? And why do I lack the ability to decline in favour of my own interests/pursuits? I suppose it has something to do with guilt/shame. Still, it's starting to get ridiculous. This week I've played hotelier to my sick friend, babysat my sister-in-law's highly unintelligent dog (& even dropped it off at *shudders* dog daycare), picked up a gift for my sister's friend's birthday, helped another friend prime her ceiling (which I helped her strip of its asbestos coating 2 weeks ago), and drove two more friends all over hell's half acre on Saturday searching for furniture for their new apartment.
8) I think my solo adventure is going to come sooner rather than later.
9) Two more days to go before my house is mine again.
