Summary: Someone should tell them they might die tomorrow.
Teyla felt his presence before she saw him. Next came the somewhat fruity smell of the shampoo he had gotten from the only other person on Atlantis who had dreads (a female scientist named Emin). Teyla made note to tease him that the mango smell made him see much less like the mad dog image he cultured. He sat down across from her and the dreads of doom flickering momentarily into her view. She smiled without looking up from her book and reached over to pick up a piece of flatbread. The chair lurched once and a boot came to rest beside her sandal.
"Someone should tell them they might die tomorrow."
"And who isn't engaging in proper activities this time?" she replied softly, breaking off a piece of the bread. She knew he wouldn't be offended that she hadn't put the book down. It was a game they often played her pretending that she didn't care and him coming up with more absurd comments to try and distract her from her book. She would call it flirting if it was with anyone else.
