It's a post!
Had a job interview Thursday for work at Cardiovascular as a Patient Representative. It went pretty well and I think I have a good chance of making it to the second interview with a panel (did I mention I hate redundant interviews?). I wouldn't be making much and I wouldn't exactly be using my degree at all but I desperately need the insurance and frankly any money I can make will help out around here. I've been a burden around the house long enough.
Dad's knee isn't going to get any better from my understanding so they're gonna have to do surgery on it in November. He's got two options: get work on it done now and a complete knee replacement later or just get a complete knee replacement later. Obviously he can't do the latter because we'll get financially sunk and he'll be out of work too long. As it stands now we're going with the first and he'll be out of work for at least 6 months. It obviously bothers him, but it's not like he can do much about it.
My grandma's doing better than expected and will be going to rehab as soon as we transport her to a different facility (apparently insurance won't pay for her transport?). Not much else to say in this area.
Today's also my buddy Sean's wedding (Browning for those of you that know him). It's a little rainy but frankly I like the moodiness of it. As long as it doesn't ruin the day for him and Brandy. I feel a little bit weird around his other friends as it's quite obvious that I don't really fit in at all. It's going to be a bit lonely seeing as I can't just follow Sean around (being as he's pretty much the only person I'll know there), but I'm gonna try not to be the one antisocial guy there :P. I'm sure it'll be fine though, I can handle not being a heathen for a couple hours.
I don't know what to do in all this sunshine and rain. Just gotta keep moving.
