Update
Surgery was a success. She's resting now and will begin healing from it. That's the good news. Heavy says "I LOVE THIS DOCTOR!"
The bad news is after doing more biopsies on it for double checking they found it to actually to be cancerous. From what I understand, they believe almost all of the cancer was in one of the ovaries removed. However, to be safe she's gonna have to go through some chemotherapy. So there's still a way to go.
My uncle found out simultaneously that he has prostate cancer also. He'll probably have to go through much more extreme chemo. He's had benign brain tumors before so he's somewhat used to this sort of thing but it still sucks. Note that I'm not particularly fond of this uncle, but I don't wish these kinds of things on anyone.
Dad's still out of work with his old knee injury. He had to have a knee replacement sometime ago (I believe I was in middle school at the time) and apparently he tore his meniscus back then. Apparently they never quite fixed it as they should have as its resurfacing. He's having trouble getting workman's comp due to them already having had a settlement on his old injury. All kinds of fun stuff there. Our financial situation is pretty much suffering a bit due to it.
