Chloe Rey Gordon was born Wednesday the 15th November 2006 at 7.10 pm in the Timaru Hospital theatre. The birth was assisted with forceps and epsiotomy(spelling?) as she got stuck and it was touch and go for a while whether they were going to have to do a c-section...lucky me, they didnt..but I still got sliced and diced haha. Chloe was 7pd 11 oz(3.5kg) and was quite calm for the first 24 hours... probably due to the 2 shots of pethidine and 2 epidurals they gave me..not to mention the gas and air which made me feel far away!
Anyway, she's now 2 weeks old, been up and down so far with problems feeding and a few other things but now we are finally settling down to a happy baby and 90% healed mommy..
...Theres absolutely nothing like giving birth....I was incredibly lucky to have Michael there supporting me, I would've fallen apart without him there keeping me strong.
So this is the first time I've come to mom and dad's since she was born, so I thought I better let y'all know we're doing well now.......
Oh how I miss an 8 hour sleep! I've already had the best christmas present in the world early.. but sleep would be a close second at the moment haha!
