So yeah, thank goodness this week is over, especially the work week. I was pretty sure if I had to have worked on Saturday, I'm sure I would've Hammer of Justice someone in the face. I'm working this weekend, so I think I'll be okay. Except for the fact that we found out that we're going to be closed for 2 weeks so the main building can fix whatever electrical problems that they have. Yeah, I'm all about going green, but not at the expense of others!! Not everyone gets to have a free holiday vacay!!! Some of us have to stay open to provide services to the public you JERKFACES!!1 GAH!!!
Oooohh!! Shoe Cents stores are closing for good, which sucks, because that was the place to get formal shoes for cheap!! But, they're having a fabulous clearance-everything-must-go sale!!! I got 2 pairs of pumps, one pointy and one peep-toe. It was kind of funny when I was looking at the pointy toes, I wanted a colored pair, but they had NO size 10s anywhere. Until I got to the Turquoise ones. AND THEY HAD 10S!!! I ran to my mother w/ Candizzle in tow and literally shouted, "Mother, these are the only size 10s of alllll those colored pumps. It is obvious that the Shoe Gods want me to have these." So naturally, she stared at me, and then chuckled to herself. Then I came across some black patent peep-toe pumps. They're saucy!! Then, when we got to the counter to checkout, they had these super cute flip flopes for $7.50. So when I walked out of the store, I had spent $42, and managed to save more than what I spent. So needless to say, I did good!! I can weat the black pumps to work, but I'm not so sure about the turquoise ones...
Oh!! And I got a LBD at Target for $30!! Annnnnd it has a body slimmer built into it!! So I wore it to Jenny & Darko's wedding on Saturday, with my red peep toes. I think it worked, I just have to learn to NEVER wear the dress to a place where it gets hotter than 70 degrees, or else I'm in BIG trouble. It got a little warm bein a dance machine. Oh, have to mention the music. So J & D love 80's, so they played that for the majority of the night. Yay!!! However, Darko is from Bosnia, so they played Bosnian music. Which was... interesting. It had a good beat!!
So I'm FINALLY going to start watching True Blood tomorrow night. I'm going to try to watch at least 1 episode a night, because I'm irritated to all hell that I got the 1st season for my birthday IN JUNE and still haven't watched it. Next paycheck, I'm getting my lappy2000 fixed. I miss it. I neeeeeeed it back!!!
So, I went back to the doctor on Thursday, where my doctor told me that I may have a growth or abcess(sp?) behind my tonsil, which is why I have sore throats and constant pressure in my throat all the time. I have an appointment Tuesday morning with the ENT, and hopefully, she'll tell me that I need my tonsils out. As much as I don't want to go throught the pain, I'd rather have a week of pain than years and years. So yeah, cross fingers and wish me luck!!
Well, I think that's it for now, I'm going back to my room and watch the rest of the Star Wars marathon that's on TV (again).
