Happy Birthday!
Well, the party is over, the guests are gone, big brother went to spend the night at Grammie's and Mom, Dad and Dylan have finished a much-deserved nap. Well, Mom deserved it...and Dylan was pretty worn out from all the partying. ;)
I am so glad the gift-giving was held to a minimum. Lord knows we don't need any more kid oriented junk in this house. There were just enough wrapped packages (2) so that he felt like he had something to open. Amusingly enough, the best gift by far has been the dog kennel I purchased last night at Wal-Mart for Boudin. I haven't been able to get him (my son, not the dog!) out of it all day. He is, in fact, sitting in it - next to the desk - as I speak. He has about 15 helium balloons clipped to the front of his shirt and is trying to figure out if he can get them inside with him and still close the door. (the kennel's not THAT big...)
Jay, I had a great picture to post for you of the two kids crammed inside this cage...caption being "Better Than Duct Tape"...but Ben posted it first and it's not showing up. Once we figure it out, I'll post it in your honor. :)
