This past friday I got to hang out with Neal and his girlfriend, Taylor (who is like the cutest thing ever!).
We went to dinner at Genova's and proceeded to nerd out...like, I am so glad that she's a nerd because I was so afraid I was gonna embarass Neal. He assured me that I wouldn't. XD But she was super cute and fun to hang out with and I like her art a lot! Good drawer.
They match!! XD
Do not they look adorable?! Taylor is so girl! And I just wanna pinch Neal's skinny widdle cheeks XD He looks so happy!
It had rained earlier that day and the location I inhabit is very hilly which yielded much fog. It was a little scary driving around in it. As we were walking out to the car we were saying that we were going to end up in Silent Hill. I was like, "We're totally gonna see some girl run across the street and then screech to a halt by some median strip." and then Taylor proceeds to say, "Neal, is that snow?...OH GOD, IT'S ASH!!" X3 love that girl.
I directed them to the closest movie theatre in the next town and treated them to Bolt for Neal's birthday and to honor Taylor.
ADORABLE MOVIE! X3
First of all...I WANNA GROW UP TO BE THAT GIRL WITH THE PURPLE HAIR SOOOOOOO BAAAAAAD!!!! SHE IS ONE OF THE RADDEST THINGS IN THAT MOVIE AND I WAS SO BUMMED YOU DIDN'T GET TO SEE MORE OF HER!
Oh yeah. Windrich is totally Penny's tv dad. I couldn't stop laughing.
And you warned me about pigeons, Lyse...But I couldn't bring myself to hate them XD They were oddly charming! And the animation was great! That head tick that pigeons have, superbly captured. And that purple one was always molting!!! XD
And the little doodles on the map! Taylor and I squeed at the sun and lady liberty. As soon as that sun came out we simultaneously broke out into "eeeeee!! the sun! look at it!" It was then I knew we would have no problems being friends. And, as always, the ending credits were gorgeous.
Overall, I was very pleased. Worth the money. I totally forgot that it was Miley Cyrus and John Travolta while I was watching it. Awesome casting and performances.
Thanks for recommending it, Lyse!
