Quick Post-Read Reaction:

I just spent the few frenzied hours finishing this book, and it was AWESOME! I'll write a longer review later on but yes! I love this series in a way that I hadn't had for Harry Potter. These demigods, how you glee me with your mythful world.

More after I get some sleep.

Someone is kind enough to scan and translate near half of the illustrations of the above story here. The artwork itself is worth a look.

1. Apparently, my country has not yet brought in Rick Riordan's The Titan's Curse. Damnit.
   
   
2. But alas, today is not all bad news. Beneath The Bleeding, Val McDermid's newest Tony Hill/Carol Jordan, will be out this July. I love, love this series. Check out the author's thoughts on the new book here.

Now, I have a wedding to get ready for. Cue primping.

This is so not on. I can't believe they're allowing Chris Columbus to touch any being of Percy Jackson and the Olympians. He will cutesify Greek mythology to its manga dewy eyes [refer to Harry Potter Movie 1 and 2]. Leave the series the eff alone!
