(no subject)
I am waiting for my daughter to get back from dinner with her "step-mom" for her birthday, so I thought that I would take a few minutes to check on everyone's journals and update mine. School is still hectic. My daughter is really getting a mouth on her too but I think that it is a good thing. She told me that her dad told her to lie to the law guardian but that she knew that what he said was a lie so that she was not going to say it that she was just going to say what she wanted. She also said that she does not have to listen to what he says about what she can do on her time here and that he is definitely not the boss of me (Meg not Tessa) because I am a grown-up. I think that I am definitely in trouble as this one gets older but it is nice to see that she is learning that her dad can not control her life with me and that she does not have to lie because he told her too. It really ought to be an intersting few weeks around here as all of this stuff comes out. I have so much to do for school and now getting the apartment ready in case the lawyer comes, gettting ready to move, court, graduation and of course my niece on the way. Wow! I hope that I can keep it together and push through this. I am alot more confident that I can get through this next couple of weeks with school than I am that I will make it through three months without school to keep me busy. We shall see how it all goes.
